I bought the now discontinued buffalo hide FXRG heavy jacket last year at Sturgis for 50% off. It is a great jacket and I think it was well worth what I paid for it and I would have paid full price and not regretted it. It is made in China though.

I wear Redwing 606s (brown, 6" boot, not insulated, multiple widths) to work everyday. They make a black version 607 that I'm gonna try for riding.

Thanks for the research, I guess the salesman was correct, the Motorcycle boots are off shore boots now.
