I know this is gona sound dumb, but I never had allergies till I moved up to the panhandle, and have had a stuffy head ever sence,(about 5 years ago) but about a month ago I started taking double and triple doses of vitamin D and it has all but cleared up,nothing helped ,would wake up in the middle of the night not able to breath, and drainage down the throat, like I said, has all but stopped.

Ok, I've had this hay fever riding problem also and have been trying all sorts of stuff. I've tried Claritin, Zertek, etc but nothing seems to work. The only thing that consistently works is water. When I stop after a ride I immediately wash my face and run some water through my hair. I also take a soaked towel, lay it on my face and breathe through my nose taking in small amounts of water. Typically I take about five minutes to get this all done but I don't end up with a lot of sneezing and watery eyes. I also make sure to blow my nose and get all the gunk out. When I'm on the road I make sure to have a bottle of water, wash cloth and a micro towel.
I guess this a bit overkill on procedure but I don't suffer much after I ride. Face it, hay fever is always going to bother you. Learn how to deal with it vice suffering and taking drugs. Semper Fi. K6

I'm just allergic to cats and strawberries. The thing I hate most about country riding is the overwhelming manure smell you get at some points. I wonder if that nose filters will block out smells. lol
