Default Bike dryer @ Home Depot

Don't know about anyone elses Home Depot but mine had a sale on small electric 2 speed leaf blowers. $35.00 I was looking at the ones at the dealer and they wanted $150.00 The only thing that they had that this didn't was the Harley name and warm filtered air. Same speed same weight works like a charm. Am I missing something here?

Filtered air won't sand blast your paint.

Danny....you may be thinking just a little too hard on that. I've used my leaf blower to dry my bike and have never had it "shoot" anything at it in the process. Nothing wrong with using a leaf blower to dry your bike.

You don't live in Oklahoma where the wind is ALWAYS blowing dust around.

That majority of my vehicles have always been dark blue or black.

+1 to that. The only drawback to my leaf blower is it's big and heavy, that little one might be worth a look.

Yeah, maybe in a heavy dust storm a leaf blower might pick up some dirt and blow on to your bike with all the other stuff that mother nature is also blowing on to it at the same time. Simple solution, don't wash your vehicles in dust storms.

For me, I've been using a leaf blower for the past ten years without any problems, no filter, and no warm air. Do you really need warm air? Can I just use a regular leaf blower on a hot day?

Mind over matter........What does it matter........Does it really matter?

why not take it out and ride it... dries it off quite nicely I think.

And I live in Colorado along the front range.. and the wind never stops here either. Lately I've been thinking about building a wind powered generator to plug in the the house power.
