One thing to remember is that it doesn't take a lot of MMO mixed in your fuel to provide sufficient upper end lubrication and carb/fuel injector cleaning.
They recommend 4 ounces for each 10 gallons of gas, which comes out to about 1 ounce for every 2 1/2 gallons of gas.
I fill my bikes pretty frequently, and normally it only takes about 2 1/2 gallons to 'top off the tank'. The MMO container (at least the 16 ounce plastic container) has a marking on the side for each 4 ounces so it's pretty easy to calculate a 1 ounce 'shot'.
I use it so often that I no longer measure it out, and just pour in an approximate 1 ounce shot at each fill up. It doesn't have to be exact, but you don't want to pour in more than actually necessary.

I'd almost forgot about that completely. Headed to WalMart for another try. Some things just don't get worse with age... Maybe MMO is one of em.

Marvel Mistery Oil is similar to Transmission fluid, it is not snake oil. It's highly tetergent and does a great job of cleaning fuel components and internal engine parts. This is why it is used inside the oil and fuel systems. Be careful in using this oil in engines that have high milage, it has a tendency to clean so well that the seals that gum up may start to leak. I use it all the time in my fuel, I use about 2 to 3 oz every 4 or 5 fill ups. ATF works just as well.
BTW, you can get it at any auto parts store..

I use it mostly in the summer. Keeps the EVO engine a bit cooler and the injectors a bit quieter. A couple of ounces every fill-up. Seems to take the bite out of the 10% ethenol mix in the gas. Too much and the performance gets impacted. I found that it does keep the internals of a carbed bike in motion. And the upper end does stay a bit queiter.
