Looking for a differnt helmet?
 

Hey all, Ive been looking on the web for the past couple days without any luck for a specific type of full face helmet for doing the longer rides that I have planned for this summer and for safety. I was hoping that someone may have a lead on this helmet (make, price, ect.) as I think I wouldnt take away from the HD look or attitude, while also giving me much needed protection. Any help is greatly appreciated, btw, I believe it is called a bandit type helmet, but im not positive.

That looks like a simpson racing helmet. Have you looked at the Hjc. I have a CL-SP and its similar to that design.

The simpson is very close, but the snout is different, also i wonder if a tinted sheild is offered?

Check out Helmetcity.com and the Simpson website. There are motorcycle helmets and then there are auto racing helmets.

They have a motorcycle helmet based on the Bandit racing helmet. I liked the looks but was a little too pricey for me and I wasn't sure how much ventilation it had.

Anyway, I ended up ordering the Simpson Avenger in black. I like it so far, especially on cool/cold days.

I had to send my 1st one back....didn't fit, but simpson was great to deal with. The one I've got now fits like a glove.
