1 Broke back, 1 borrowed bike, 1 P.O.S. & 4 guys heading to Sturgis
 

Me and 3 buddies are leaving Sat. morning. We worked on bikes all night trying to get them all to run. We had to borrow a bike from a poor dude who can't go (now that's a friend). One of the guys going broke his back 1 1/2 years ago and he just had surgey in June. One of the bikes, we just rebuilt and made it a hardtail with 16" apes. We finished wiring it last night. All for of us are still running all over town for last minute rat killing. Oh and not one of us owns a rain suit. We will be the wet, angry guys on the side of the road drinking beer and working on the P.O.S. Be sure to wave.

Engne 5-- Rule number 1 - don't mess with your bike just before a ride of any length or distance. Do it all in advance with enough time to do a test run of at least a hundred miles to prove the changes.

Now having said that, have a great ride with your mates and be safe! I have no doubt it will be a fun, learning experience for all of you.

Man, now that sounds like a lot of fun. Just you, the bikes, and some good friends. Hopefully someday I can do something like that...HAve fun and ride safe!!!
