Default Removal of Glued Handle Bar Grip

I remember seeing a thread on how to take the glued handle grip off. I did a search and I am unable to find it.

Any one remember the thread?

Any one has suggestions on removing the glued handlebar off without destroying it so that it can be used again?

Thanks

Gumby, He bought me new bars for my Birthday. He's going to swop them out for me this week.
But we have never done this before.

Just grab the grip with two hands and twist hard back and forth. It isn't easy but it will break loose and you will be able to reuse them, I have used the same grips on 3 different bars. Happy Birthday.

Slide a long, thin bladed screw driver along the handlebar, under the grip. Get a tin of WD40 with the long nozzle attached. Slip the nozzle under the grip, alongside the screwdriver. Give it a good scoosh. Off it'll come.

Wow Thanks everyone for the advise. I knew that I could count on you guys. You too Gumby.
Now Gumby do you really mean that you would help me?

Or are you just trying to have me ride off the edge of the earth. I heard tell that people that head down 23 are really riding into a Bermuda Triangle.
