I installed a Harley quick release windshield on my 99 Softail Custom. I bought the standard height and ended up cutting out above the headlight to lower it to get it where I could see over it. This also helped buffeting. I still have some buffeting, and am wondering if I angle the windshield back more if it will help. It would not be to much of a trick to cut out the slots for the top windshield mounting bolts to make it angle back more. Just wondering if anyone else has done this, and if it helps. Thanks

 

Had my Heritage set about 15 Degrees Back seem best position for me .. any more than that and wasn't doing it's job...

 

I did not think you could adjust the sheild on a Hertiage. Can you give me some details on how to do that?
