Default Down for month or two, should i put bike on lift

Just had hernia surgery two weeks ago and will not be able to ride for at least 6-8 weeks. Just wondering if I should put the bike on a lift to get the wheels off the ground or is it ok to leave parked on kickstand?

We typically ride all year round here so Im not up on the storage procedures. Thanks in advance.

I will say it will be ok, just hook up your battery tender and relax. just check your tires for air before you ride again.

Ask yourself, how long do they sit on the dealers floor?

No, you don't need a lift. In 42 years of owning motorcycles, I have never put any on lifts.

Nope your good. Besides you don't want to blow out the surgeons good work pumping up your bike jack.

Don't have to, but since i have a lift, i use it and get most of the weight off the tires. Takes up less room in the garage and if i want to move it, i don't have to uncover it.

I have a lift but I just can't be bothered. I just move the bike once a month so all the wieght is not on the same spot on the tires

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Hope to be back on the road soon enough as I get healed up. Happy happy riding til we meet on the road again.

let your buddy ride it around the block for you every couple of weeks if it will make you feel better.
