Default Big Radius - Can't decide, need opinions

Hi, I have a new 2010 Fatboy lo black denim and I am thinking to replace my stock pipes with a performance exhaust system.

I am going for the black theme and the "bad hass" look I really like the black V&H Big Radius, I am just not sure between the 2-1 or 2-2.

I am looking for esthetic and also performance opinions between the two.

Any help, critics would be appreciated!

Thanks
Stephane

I have the 2-2 on my fat boy and love the sound as well as the performance. IMHO best sounding pipes on the market and they look great on the fatboy.

I used to have the BR 2-2 and have since replaced them with a classic style 2-1. The BR are LOUD and harsh sounding. Kind of a blat blat blat sound, but to some they sound great, but they were not my cup of tea. Performance wise, they fell flat in the low rpms, which was most apparent when leaving from a stop, but man, they were awesome up top. The 2-1's are great down low, and they do alright up top, and they sound great. Honestly, I'm much happier with the 2-1's and that would be my top recommendation.

My opinion only.........the 2-2 sound hollow cheap and tinny. The 2-1 has a deep solid rumble..........sound great to me.

Like the 2-2 on my Street Glide. Still considering them for my FXD but I rebuilt that one on a strict budget so the CS pipes are still on there.

I have the 2-2's with BCT QQ baffles. The sound is very deep & they are still pretty loud but they don't have that "bright" sound of the stock baffles. I luv em.

I love my 2 into 2. In my opinion they look better but from what I understand, the 2 in 1 have a slight performance edge.

I prefer the 2-2 myself, but I might be going to a 2-1 over the winter. With all the motor work thats going to get done, it's a no brainer to go with a 2-1 to get the most out of the build. Here's a video of mine with bct baffles.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3INo0T_ABc

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.....Its Aesthetic by the way......
Heres an article that should help U........

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwjpwC0ZM44

that said, I don't think V&H's are in the top 3, 2-1 systems....D&D's, ThunderHeader, SupperTrapp. not always but usually are the leaders. RH's and V&H's are close but just a little down....Each one have there +&-'s.

Thats were U, I repeat "U" need to research and find out which one U like the looks of and the sound....

In case U don't know yet, In the softail and the touring section there are sticky threads in them that have the dyno's of bikes with all kinds of pipes and cams combos..
Look on the first page in both sections at the top post, which are called Sticky and look for Dyno's for baggers, and Dyno's for Softails.... going through them will help U see what pipes give good numbers and where the torque is Low-Med-High...
