Default Dunlop > Metzler tire sizes question

Along with replacing my brake pads I need to replace my rear tire on my 2001 FLSTC. I'm thinking about the Metzler ME880 series tires. I've got the sizes of the Dunlops currently on my bike and need to order the equivalent size in the Metzlers.

Front is D402F MT90B16 M/C 72H
Rear is D402 MT90B16 M/C 74H

Basically it's me not sure whether or not I need to order the 130/140 or what in the Metzlers. Also, If anyone can tell me, what is the largest size tire I can replace the rear tire with without having to buy the wide tire kit. And would you recomend it?

Thanks in advance,

Rick

That's what I thought but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Thanks

Anyone know if a 140 would fit without causing damage?
