can't ride all winter. Where should I move to?

I hate the rain in western Washington. It will sometimes rain for months without end. No bull sh*t. I gotta get out of here. I'm thinking about the South East, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee. Any suggestions?

Isn't there a place just to the north-east of the Olympic Mountains [North-west Washington state] that is in a 'rain-shadow'? I don't remember the name of that area, but I think it is more than several square miles of 'dry'. Just doing my part.

Texas. But picking where in Texas is like picking where in America.

Vista, CA. Highest lows and lowest highs in the country. Most moderate temperatures a person could ask for.

Yeah but when it is nice you have some awesome country to ride in. I know I was there for two years. (Bremerton & Bangor)

I can totally agree about the weather in Western Washington. Lived and rode in Fremont(no.of Seattle)for over 30 years. Now i live in Florida. At least when it rains here, it's not too cold.:icon_bike:

Lowest rainfall area up here I believe is actually in the San Juan islands. Not a whole lot of riding on an island though, unless you like going in circles. Plus all the granola eating, wool sock and sandals wearing types out there would be p.o'd at all the noise your bike would make.
