Where can I get a low profile novelty helmet?

I am looking for a good novelty half helmet. I know there are cheap ones on eBay for $50 or so but I want one of the good ones. Maybe a carbon fiber one. Any suggestions?:icon_patriot:

My wife and I wear these. http://www.carbonfiberhelmets.com/ do not even know that I have a helmet on and is just on test shy of being DOT.

Found a dealer in Texas

Thanks guys. I do like the Head Trip brand. I did some research and their novelty versions and they are the next best thing to DOT from what I understand. I found a dealer for them in Texas that ships for free and they gave me a military discount on some other stuff when I called.

HeadTripHelmets. DoT, and Carbon Fiber. $169 for the Polo type with the little duck bill in front, plain lids in Carbon Fiber are around $120. I think the link is listed above in carbonfiberhelmets.com

Went with Head Trip myself. From what I read on the website, they pass the DoT impact test but not the puncture test. Not really too sure about the clasp though. Doesn't seem like it would hold up very well. I'm thinking about looking into replacing it with some D rings.

They will change it to D-Rings for free if you send it back to them.

Just call them direct and order, they will help you measure over the phone.

All military riders are required to wear DOT helmets.

If you care?

You'll find a good selection at www.jafrum.com, including a carbon fiber model for around $60 I think, plus 10% sale right now, and ALL are DOT.

I highly recommend the Head Trip helmets. The helmet quality and customer service is outstanding.

20-30 bucks next rally you attend every vendor sells cheap non DOT,But I personally would wear one thats been put to the test,If you have to wear a helmet ,you might as well get some protection if something were to go wrong, just the way I think:icon_viking:

Toys-R-Us probably has some cheap stuff that will make it look like you're wearing a helmet while still allowing you to splatter your brains on the pavement. ;)
