Default Why is my engine different then stock "Pics"

One thing I have noticed is my engine looks different then a stock Deuce..look at where the spark plugs are. Someone have an explanation, Are these just covers that can be removed to pull the plugs?

Mine

Stock.

Those are a part you can buy from H-D to cover up the plugs. I have a set on my FXD. Also you have a chrome enricher **** cover and I can't tell for sure but is that a skull on your fuel petcock?

Thanks guys...I just ran out to the garage checked...yup covers. I assume the rear one is removed to pull the spark plug because there is no way I can get a socket in there because the petcock is in the way. Seems like everyday I find something new.

I may be a bit green when it comes to HD but not that green I really think there should be a rule that every time you post you have to add a hot pic of the Misses...I for one really enjoy those

Yep, finned headbolt bridge, part # 43859-00, fits '99-later TC equipped models with EFI, and '00-later FXSTD models.
