Default Mecatwin XLCR Evolution Sportster conversions

Been interested in these kits for some years, a 1200 Evolution XLCR would be a fun bike to own. Maybe the MoCo should go retro on the XLCR. Here's a link and some pics.

Man... I'd probably jump on that. I recently saw a real one at Illinois HD in Berwyn. I am somewhat surprised the MoCo hasn't come out with a new version of it.

They did, it's called the XR1200. As for the black bike above, I don't like it. I understand that it pays "homage" to the original and all but it looks like little more than cosmetic changes and minor suspension/brake changes. The tank is cool looking though

Not really even close. The XR1200 is an homage to the XR750. The XLCR was a different beast altogether. Had they (Mecatwin) offered a kit for the rubber-mount Sporty's, I probably would have converted the Nightster.

I like everything about that bike except for the little front fairing... I'd ditch that. Sick looking bike though.

Here's an Evolution Sportster XLCR styled bike from the movie 'Black Rain' ridden by Michael Douglas

Maybe if the fairing was just a little bit smaller & narrow. Still has to be one of the slickest looking HD's
