When I bought my 07 it came with the Tender already set up. I thought starting in 07 all Harley's came with a Tender and the pigtail already hooked to the battery. Maybe it was just touring models.

My tender hangs down to my knees. Now, where do I plug that positive lead?

+1 on keeping it 'plugged in' when the wheel's aren't turning, simple procedure, so why not?

I'm with you. It's to easy to plug in when not riding.

Got er done with no issues. Connected the leads to the positive terminal and then the neg to the chassis ground. Bike started with no issue. Shut her down and plugged in the tender. Charged up quick and now it's in float mode. A small but necessary victory for my non mechanically inclined self. Nice feature. Thanks for the help!
