Installing new handlebars - internal wiring them myself
Hey, I just got some new handlebars with about 3'' of extra rise and some pull back as well. So I know to install them I need extra electrical wiring and probably new cables.
Regarding the electrical wiring - is there any specific brand or system that people recommend? I assume it is just a matter of getting the right wires, running them through the handlebar, and splicing into the existing wires near the top clamp, correct?
Regarding the cables, I am planning on just installing the bars and then figuring out how many inches over stock I need on the cables based on the distance between the end of the stock cable and the connection on the new bars. Where is the best place to get new cables? I should be able to do this myself, including getting the tension right, correct?

On my bike I only had to add about 2 inches to internal wire my Wild Ones 504s . I Used the vacumn trick to pull a string attached to a piece of cloth to pull it through the bars and then attached the wires toi the string and pulled them through. I spliced and shrink wrapped the connections
