Default Rear wheel

I want to know how to align the rear wheel on my dyna low rider. Do I measure the tire to the swing arm? Thanks

What year is the bike? on the 2003 Dyna, there is a tiny home in the swing arm on each side. HD sells a tool (but you can make one out of an old coat hanger and use a file to make a point on one end) that you stick in the hole and use it to measure the distance to the center of the axel on each side. When distance is identical on both sides, the wheel is alligned.
