Thumbs up The Harley Davidson Museum.

Just got back from the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Not a bad display of bikes.
It reminded me alot of the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, IA except it was all Harley.
I recommend going and seeing it to anyone interested.

Take A Look:

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Don't know if I'll ever make it there so, this is as close as I can get.

Oddly enough I was in Daytona (based on a thread you started which drew my attention to Biketoberfest) while you were here. On my way back I stopped in at Wheels Through Time. Nice display. You should have looped over to Anamosa Iowa to see the museum there. Equally impressive.

Glad you had a good visit.

I've been once and would like to go back again - Some of the displays are static - others are rotating and you never know what you might see the next time. Too bad I live so far away.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Tell me about it...
I was soooooo hoping to get back in time but a business engagement kept me longer in Virginia than I wanted to stay.

I mentioned the IA museum, I seen it a few years ago, they have Steve McQueens old Indian on display.
Another place I highly recommend anyone to go see, although they are both a hell of a long way away from most places.

For whatever weird reason I read that as Wheels Through Time Museum. Strange how the mind works (or doesn't work). All good visits regardless and must sees for any rider imo.

I rolled in last night. I took the long way home - Daytona to Charlotte, to the Smokies, to Nashville, to the Ozarks, then north. Peak fall colors in a lot of those areas made for some spectacular riding. Yes, the weather got pretty sh*tty once home. About an hour in torrential rain, which isn't too bad considering.

The museum is a must see if you're in Milwaukee. Best if you can make your visit on Bike night in the summer. The entire grounds is used all year around though, they've put up a building just to handle all the wedding reception that riders have.
