Great pics. If I am correct that building is at the entrance to Seaport Village.

Very early 1900's.

Interesting to note that there are two different bikes pictured. Wonder if the officers bought their own back then?

They probably didn't make too many arrests. Being on a rear wheel stand. It's like running in place.

I noticed that around my town too....All the cops are on BMWs weird looking.

All our motorcycle police are still on Harleys. Local, county and sheriff. I don't think I have ever seen a BMW police bike before, and my mother in law works at a very large cop motorcycle supply store. Maybe I will have to go back in and look around, their is never a bad time to get leather goods at cost.

Cambridge MA PD dumped all 32 of thier HD's last year and went on to BMW's

one thing you have to give the BMW is the element of surprise because than can roll anywhere at full throttle and nobody will hear them.

It is strange to see them all decked out with the blue lights though.
