Nowhere near riding weather yet, unless it's a snowmobile so I went to the dealer to say hi and see what's new. I am in the market for a new jacket so I tried a couple on. Also tried on a shirt that caught my eye and I decided to buy it. The Gal at the counter said as I was going to pay for it "I'll give yo 50% off this shirt" I was shocked and thankful. Then she says "that leather jacket you tried on, I can do 50% on that too". Well I damn near hit the floor!! $750 jacket for half price. She proceeded to tell me that I'm a good customer and she would give me 50% off pretty much any motorclothes merchandise except a few specific items. I was blown away. So I picked out a few more items before leaving. No advertised sales, no clearance signs. First time I've ever left the dealer thinking they genuinely appreciate my business.

 

Today must be her last day on the job. Either that or she had a stroke while you were there.

Wow, 50 % off, I think I am going to jump in my 4 wheel drive and plow through this 2 feet of snow on a trek to my local HD dealership and see if I can take advantage of the apparel salesgirl. Then I will see if I can get a good deal on the apparel.

I agree. What could H-D do to a jacket to make it retail for $750.00??? Made in China and flown over here in a private Gulfstream I guess.
