Ever meet a guy that does twice as much work, to avoid some work?

I wonder if he has to read the manual upside down?

That's some sort of Honda CBR, a 900+ cc rocket ship. Don't worry, once he gets its soulless carcass running again none of you Harley guys will ever see more than its rapidly disappearing tail lights.:icon_lol:

All of the Japanese off road bikes and ATV's I have owned were actually designed with the Technician in mind and were a pure pleasure to work on. Frame gussets with holes in them to permit extensions to pass through to easily gain access to suspension components. Engine cases with a built in surface to pry on so gasket mating surfaces are not marred on disassembly. Floating calipers...just remove one bolt, pivot the caliper up and replace the pads, and the list goes on and on. Their shop manuals are top notch too. Notice in the pic the entire exhaust system did not require removal to get in there.

Looks right to me. He knew excatly what needed to be done and the best way to get to it without pulling the whole engine.
I hung mine from the garage door supports to remove both tires.

Harleys are so simple...If you have 3 standard wrenches and 2 screwdrivers , and can fix a John Deere riding mower, you can fix a Harley.
