So the first thing Jim asks is "hey man, do you know why they put all that plastic on?"

Dude replies with something to the effect of cutting turbulence, aerodynamics, the usual reasons why those bikes have plastic.

Jim says "Hell no Brother. They do it to cover up the ugly!" And walks away. The dude was just stunned. Point being, it goes both ways.
That's some funny **** there. Just had to send it to a buddy of mine that's a hard core Beemer rider. I know he'll get a chuckle out of it.

Oh well, I still figure the more 2-wheelers on the road and less cages the better.

I rode a Beemer in the eighties, it was an early 70's/5 model. At the time I wished I could aford a Harley (I was a student). Now that I have a Harley, I do not wish for a Beemer. I really haven't changed much. I can't get enought of twin cylinders and pushrods; and that single-throw crank....Potatopotatopotato....

I have a friend that just bought a new BMW something, darn near 25 grand. It's a nice bike, I guess, if that's the sort of bike you like. It seems very top heavy to me, and too tall for me also although I'm only 5'10" and he is over 6' tall so it fits him better.

I skipped the other responses, well except fo the last one from 2k3p and his pic of the thong babe! Why does anyone care about what some one else says or thinks? Guess you might think it's cuz of my age, but I've always been that way. I do what I like, no matter what the popularity poll suggests.
