Don't worry, it was probably never intended to be fired....it's for parades, and such (like most of france's military)! I imagine the conquering Panzer divisions about pissed their pants laughing when they came across this french contraption of 'mass destruction'. I'm sure the 'courageous' rider got to wear an 'outrageous' helmet.

3. Guess you've never had the pleasure of interacting with the professional French military. They are truly of the Warrior Class.

 

If it weren't for the French naval blockade of the British during the American Revoluntionary War, we might still be buying stuff with the pound sterling. People forget or don't know that bit. Ah, hell probably not. But the French helped us a lot back then. And if I am not mistaken, I believe they are fighting in Afganistan right now. Justsayinzall.

From my young Marine brothers in Afghanistan (and elsewhere), I hear they look good, but pack the same light punch of their older French brethren. Help from the French during our revolution is almost a quarter millenia old, and several of their pathetic efforts since then against tyranny make them currrently quite suspect.
