Default " dam ignition switch"

changing fork oil in my 09 classic so i took out the switch as book says. mooving front end around i locked it so tried to unlock. did that but now can't get anything to come on and can't get it to lock. tried and tried, no luck. got a h.d. mechanic with the tool coming over tomorrow to straighten it out and explain what happened.

Some guy on here made this video and showed everyone how to make the tool you need. Do a search, hopefully you will find that thread. I saved the video in my how to file. Hope this helps!! Whoever made the video.....thanks a bunch!!

Wish I could get the old FLH fork lock to work that well....

Bought a disc brake lock though ..that might help a little

couldn't find anything that would work so got the switch and looked at it again. there are 2 notches in the switch housing, one wasn't lined up. played with it and finally got it to work. going to save the video, priceless!
