Default Anyone have a Harley in their 20s?

Not trying to be a smartass or anything. Just wondering how many here had an H-D in their teens or 20s. It's no secret that you don't see too many young people on Harleys (hopefully the Nightster and Iron 883 will change that).

I'm 55 years old, and when I had my Sportster and later my '81 Low Rider, I was in my 20s. I just don't see it anymore. And , everything being relative, they were as expensive then as they are now, really. I paid 5 grand for my Low rider, and was probably making about 15K a year then which wasn't that bad.

Got my first Harley, a brand new 78 Super Glide when I was 20. It was black and cost me $2995! Just bought my 6th new Harley a 2010 Ultra Limited in Oct for my 52nd birthday.

Got a 59 Duo Glide when I was 19. Of course that was in the early 60's and there weren't any other bikes except British bikes back then.

I'm 25 and bought my first harley 2 months ago. It's an 09 Street Bob and I absolutely love it. Really couldn't afford it but I said F*ck it.

Bought a new 95 Softail when I was 24. Lived on mac n' cheese for the next 3 years while I paid it off.

My nephew is 26. He is a Marine. When he went to Iraq, he had a Honda Shadow. When he got home, he took his combat pay and bought a Harley. My daughter was 29 last summer when she bought her Harley.
