Bought: Men's Luminator 360° Leather Jacket
#21
Thanks guys. I've been buying my HD goods from http://www.bikerclothesforless.com/ and have had good experiences. This jacket is $420 shipped (no tax) too which is awesome.
The only other jacket I'm considering is the HD FXRG Textile jacket because it has a nice look, it's textile, more armor, AND has the removable liner.
Decisions!

Back in April/May of this year a guy who went by the name harleyheaven was selling HD jackets for unbelievable prices. Got a HD Road Warrior leather at just about 50% from the dealer pricing....searched it and found he has been shut down by HD.

What would you spend that much money on?
Just curious because I see that comment all the time on this forum and I know that jacket will outlast a motorcycle, among most other things. I guess it's all relative.

I guess the point is that you can buy a jacket as good as or much better than anything HD sells for less than their jackets cost. I wouldn't spend that much on a jacket because I'd be throwing away money, since I can buy an excellent jacket for less. My Schott Perfecto was $250 brand new and no HD I've seen even comes close in quality (much less being US made). I can easily buy a slightly used one for a lot less than that - you just have to shop around.

Schott = EXPENSIVE!
Dang, just looked up the Schott jackets and they make most everything that Harley sells pretty inexpensive. They are probably quite well made, although I have zero personal experience with them, but they are REAL expensive.
Great jacket in the illuminator! Ride safe.
