Mods, Mods, Mods, I need a part time job
Took my Fatboy in to Longhorn Harley in Tx for the 1K service Saturday, it was free with the purchase. They had a block party going on with cheap burgers, free beer and two bands. Went inside to do a little window shopping and drool. Been looking at pipes almost everyday, so I said the heck with it, picked out V&H bigshots staggered pipes, high flow air filter. The bike will be in the shop a few days since they are going to fix a dent we found right after purchase. I had priced the pipes on the net and they were cheaper so I did a little bargaining since I would rather support my local dealer or indy, actually talked them into a 10% off, I know they are still making money, so it made the price not much more that what I found on the net. Figured it was worth it to go ahead and get it all done at once.
Now I just need a part time job or a winning lotto ticket.

Ride and save your cash this season so by the end of it you'll have a great/better idea on how you want to spend your money.

since the bike is new you will need to do a couple things to make it run good. then every time you get the new list of things you want to add on figured up, do a 2000 mile week long ride. best way to end the shiny stuff buying habit is rollin miles up on the bike!!! do saddle time instead of showroom floor time, roll on man...

According to The University of Texas at Austin, College of Liberal Arts, Texas Beyond History.net. "Tejas: the Life and Times of the Caddo Indians."
http://www.texasbeyondhistory.net/tejas/index.html Tejas is the Spanish spelling of a Caddo word taysha, which means "friend" or "ally". In the 17th century the Spanish knew the westernmost Caddo peoples as "the great kingdom of Tejas" and the name lived on to become the name of the 28th state of the United States - Texas.

Yep, they are a great dealer, top shelf service, friendly staff. They have an event once a month. Always free beer, cheap burgers, bikini bike wash and free bands playing.
