I am having an issue with my 02 Superglide. I have noticed I have oil on my air filter and it is coming out of the air intake. I was thinking that maybe it was running to rich.....Can anyone give me other options no matter how painful they might be as to what my problem might be?

Which aircleaner do you have.

 

Most common issue is running too much oil. Most common fix is running a bit low, as much as half quart.

 

It's pretty normal and has happened to most harleys at some time. Running hard on the freeway for awhile will cause it also. Like suggested, drop the oil a little in the tank. You'll find a level that will work best for you bike with some trial and error.

 

sitting around very long some will wet sump a little and that then sent through the intake
