Air horns...who's got em?
It's tourist time here on cape cod in the People's Republic of MA. I need something louder than my finger or my stock horn to let them know I really don't want to be run over. I want some loud, obnoxious air horns. Something that sounds like a semi or a train. Anyone have something like this? I need some guidance. They seem to go from 30 bucks to 200 online. Loudest I found are 139 decibels, but I don't like the tone. Sounds like a VW on steroids. I wan't people to panic like they just cut off an 18 wheeler when I hit the horn button.
Thanks C- |
i got the howards horns and am very happy. coming in and out of boston daily at rush hour they work real nice and are loud.

Hey thanks for the reply neighbor. I remember seeing them during my search online. How is the tone? Is it more like a loud car horn, or more like a truck? I am looking for something that's easy for them to hear over the thumping bass and cell phone yacking. I will give howards a look.

With the good big horns the compressor has to be big. To big for a motor bike.
