Clutch Vibration/Pulsating Normal?

When my bike gets hot, my clutch acts a little weird. Say I'm at a stop, especially at an incline...when I begin to let out the clutch and it starts to grab, then I get this pulsating from the clutch. Kinda like it grabs and let's go very quickly. It only does it in the friction zone. My clutch is properly adjusted (I'm sure of it) and I run Redline MTL. New disks and steels didn't help it either.

Anyone?

Sounds like your pressure plate has hot spots on it. Prolly need to replace it and adjust it according to specs. Make sure you torque the diaphragm spring to specs...very important! The pressure plate is aluminum and can be sensitive to improper tightening.

When I replaced my friction and steel disks a few months ago, I was sure to torque the pressure plate corretly. The new disks did help some, but the pulsating is still there... I may end up replacing the pressure plate, and maybe going with the SE diaphragm spring too. Don't know yet. I gotta call the dealer today to see how much the pressure plate is.
