Umm wouldn't that get kind of expensive to change the transmission at every 2400 miles?

25,000 miles on my 07 Street Bob and no problem with the transmission at all.

Are you sure it's the transmission?? Maybe the spark plugs are out of spark fluid!

And where do you get this information? Proof, not unsubstantiated statements is what I like to see. No one I know has had a problem. I guess there are a lot of us who own these bikes with considerable miles (28,000+ on mine) that have not had a problem, and who obviously have our heads in the sand!

Default Trans main bearing

Hope all you na-sayers don't have a problem, it's not so funny when you have a 2008 Road King 30,000 on it and it's one week out of warranty and you've been hearing a whine get louder & louder for a month only to find out you have transmission main bearing bad, every 5,000 I changed all oils with Amsoil 20-50 . Haven't tried to get any parts yet but have read where there may be a Timken replacement. Laugh if you want, I'm not !
