I am not trying to rain on your good time, and obviouslty I love it down there. But, mapquest doesn't come close to estimating the time it takes to get there in a car, much less on a bike. (and I know every bridge where it is safe to pass...)

The ride to Key West across the bridges is definetely worth it though. The party once you are there is the topper.
well aware, thanks... we have done this ride before, fomr some reason I remember it as a little over 500 miles not 720. We leave early am and get there mid-late afternoon in time for happy hour.

we're trailering to Daytona this time because we're taking an extra bike, but we normally ride to Daytona from MD, about 880 miles. We leave 4am and ride straight thru, usually pull into hotel around 6pm. we don't dick around with meal stops and such. 500 miles or so is a pretty easy day, as long as the single southbound lane thru the Keys doesn't get bogged down too much.

You are absolutely correct on the mileage. My apologies.

It just seems like it is that far... LOL

I hope the weather holds for you. You could not ask for a more beautiful day than we are having in S Florida today.

The weather has been perfect - just broke 70' last week. Last time that happened was early May. Love it.
Here is a sunrise pix from last weekend at the Granada bridge (Rt 40) in Ormond Beach. Started the day with a "Loop".
