Tired of bugs hitting my face
I don't have a windshield and I ride with a half-helmet & sun/clear glasses. Its great until I get on the highways after sundown and then I get peppered with bugs. Some of them feel like they are the size of hampsters.
Does anyone else have this problem and do you use something to protect your face.

I rode for many years without a windshield. Half helmet or no helmet. Sometimes I would put a bandana over the lower half of my face, when it was cold or the bugs were bad. After riding my bagger with a windshield for a few thousand miles I took out my old FXR (no windshield) for a ride. What a differance! I'll never go back to a bike with no windshield.

Could sit on a pillow...that would raise you up or scrunch down and they will go over you
Myself I wear something with a shield...the bike and/or the full face or the 3/4 with flip down visor or there are days when I am just in the mood for some bugs. I am not sure but near the authentic HD riding boots, near the kerchiefs, there are freeze dried attack bugs which you can thaw and carry with you to release as needed to thwart off stray bugs. Old school guys know that if you open your mouth really wide less bugs hit your face, nobody knows why.

Buy a Bagger!
I haven't had to wear any face protection as of yet, but I haven't got myself into one of those true flatland bug blizzards yet.
I knew their was a reason I wanted a fairing this go round. This reminds me why!
