hmmmm...... lets see.
Alot of effort to pump down the air out of the tire, then you gotta let it dry inside the tire, then go spend $50 to put the nitrogen in. Do you take the tires and wheels off, and deliver them to the nitro-fill dealer ? or do you let them dry out the tires or what ?
Alot of trouble to save a few hundred miles if you ask me.

And how exactly do they maintain a seal on a vacuumed, non-filled-up tire to keep the insides from being corrupted with air before the Nitrogen can fill it enough keep it solidly on the beads?

man what a gimmic i would advise you to tell your local station and all the staions you go to to carry it, otherwise as soon as you top off you loose all you have gained and as far as rotting tires do to water rotting inside that would take 20 yrs

No problems with nitrogen in the tires... just really dont want to pay extra for it.

This is the bottom line.

Haven't heard how the experiments turned out using helium to lighten the loading. ;-)

You certainly could, but why would you?

If you're flying a Boeing 747, then nitrogen is a must in your tires. On a normal, everyday car or motorcycle, it isn't necessary. Your motorcycle tires are not going through huge temperature or ambient pressure changes, nor do your tires have fuses. You're not worrying about the tire exploding because of a small amount of O2 in the compressed air auto-igniting during an aborted takeoff, or a max effort landing.

Stick to compressed air for your bike...it's plenty good enough.

Arrow O.c.d.

I see very little need of Nitrogen in motorcycle tires. I believe its Hyped. My problem is that I'd keep checking the tire pressure regularly. Everytime I check my tires I always lose a little bit of air, sooner or later my tires would need more Nitrogen. For me, little benefit.
