I am never going to wear a lime green, day glow orange or fruity lemon yellow clothing-----------just too uncool.

High beams... (being blinded by oncomming light)...and reflective visibility are not quite the same
with all due respect.
and I doubt that durnks tend to drive into oncomming light.....
with all due respect.

your too cool for me..
I don't really care.who thinks im cool.......
I guess different priorities for different people.
To me, and who cares what I think, why do you concern yourself with what people think of "you being cool"?

Reflective gear is required at night where I work......Cars still pull out in front of me, make lane changes, cut me off, etc, as if I was invisible....A triple tree mounted RPG/rocket launcher would be a better alternative to a reflective vest!!!

I wear the bright green vest. It doesn't look too bad. I'm also seriously considering moving to a full face helmet. Looking cool just doesn't matter to me as much as it used to. Now, I just want to ride and get home in one piece to ride another day.

thats because reflectorized doesn't mean squat if it doesn't have any light hitting it. all the things you mentioned were vehicles in front of you, without their headlights hitting you.

agree on the rocket launcher. a 50 cal would be nice too.

Default This attitude.....

Black bike, black gear only minimal lighting on rear, do you not think a nice big reflective anything would help at night. By the way BMW dorks as you call them, have the right attitude about gear. Most here spend 20k on a bike and $20 on safety gear.

At 63, trying to look "cool" is futile. I am going to wear one whenever my bike finally gets put back together from my last wreck.
