Just sittin here watching the show Full Throttle. Think I will stay outside Sturgis next time. Jumped the shark already, too much money for a frikken beer and camping.

I'll never go during the rally again. Been there done that. I'll definitely go back, just not during the rally. I spent about 3 hours in town total this year, and I was there for a full week. Too much good riding in that area to be sitting in stop and go traffic, bumping into people left and right.

I've been to Sturgis 10 years in a row. Spend $22/nite for camping. Was $15/nite when I started.

Buy your beer in the grocery/liquor store or bring it. If the cost of camping is two much then by all means stay home.

I never drink anyway. My personal opinion that it doesn't mix with bike riding.

Haven't been to Sturgis yet but I will be going for sure. I like the show. Just like any reality show I'm sure some parts are fake but it sure beats Ma's Roadhouse!! That is the most FAKE dumbest show I've seen.........

Was my first time this year, had to pay $200 for camping for the week, but town traffic was a nightmare, will stay outside town and visit when I want to. Sturgis is a must do at least once, but riding that area of the country is a must do multiple times to hit all the nice rides, there are lots of them. I think I will go a month before the rally the next time and stay for 2 weeks.

Its a great time in town but getting in and out of town is a nightmare, if there was a back way out I would have no problem heading back to Glencoe, was a good campground, organized and run well, beer at teh corner gas station, food sucked but hey its rally food and I had beans and weenies anyway. The show covered pre Sturgis build up and the first morning.

What the heck were you doing to get on camera twice?

I stayed in Lead the last time I went to Sturgis. It was a nice (quiet) alternative to the zoo in Sturgis.
