Bottom line, I rode a Heritage Softail Deluxe today and I'm ready to pull the trigger.

I have 5 weeks until my new garage will be ready.

The dealer said "roughly" 6 weeks until delivery.

Has anyone actually ordered through this program and if so how long did it take?

I went through the custom web site feature and getting the bike exactly as I want it was not nearly as expensive as I thought.

Since this will probably be my last bike, I am very interested.

I have dreamed of ordering the exact car I wanted by entire life, but never had the patience. Tough decision!

 

I'm pretty sure the HD-1 program still only applies to the 1200 custom. What it sounds like your doing is getting a HSTC and paying the dealer to put on the add on parts you want. Shouldn't take an more time than it does for the bike to come in and the dealer to add the parts.

 

The HD- 1 program is only for the 1200 custom. No other models. If the dealer say it will take 6 weeks just to prep your bike you are either having a lot done or they are busy.
