Default The Last 24 Hours

So I decided to jump on the bike and take a ride up to NH to try and help my mother in law with a plumbing problem.

So in the last 24 hours:

- I was almost killed when merging onto 93N from 495N when some jacka$$ trying to get onto 495S decided he really needed my space.

- Got caught in a strong thunder shower with no rain gear where 93N and 101 split just south of the toll booth.

- Purchased some rain gear at Heritage HD in Concord.

- Was almost taken out while taking the scenic route through Lowell, MA when some old man decided to pull out in front of me.

- Fell in love with a Ivory and Vintage Gold CVO Road Glide Ultra at Heritage. Simpy gorgeous.

- Realized that the stock seat on my Heritage blows for long rides, need to do something about it.

All in all, not a bad ride, other than the two idiots in cars. Today was gorgeous weather for a ride, the first in a long time for New England.

Sounds like a typical motorcycle trip for me, except I never get around to buying rain gear, and CVO colors are usually too flashy for me. Enjoy!

I hate those double merge/split highway sections. They are a clusterthingy.

Encounters with vehicles is just a fact of life on a scooter. Ya just need to get used to it and be more alert. People drive while pre-occupied with other stuff.

Interesting about the seat on your Heritage. Mine is one of the most comfortable I have ever sat on. But, I have to admit I haven't been on it for any all day trips yet.

Your MIL must make some really good chocolate chip cookies to go through all that.
