Y'think they can come up with another variation of the Sporty?

I hope not! No offense to the Sporty's, I like em. I'm just getting tired of every huge new model release being a Sportster. With that being said they've made so many variations my guess is...

Novel idea. The Dyna would be a better platform, however.

Upcoming launch of the 2011 Sportster 1200 Custom and the H-D1 1200C with factory customization.

no new bikes...just new names. re-design, re-shape, re-tool, re-think, etc.. when you are only using an air cooled v-twin as your starting point, how can you really do anything new? harley has made lots of improvements thru the years and produces a quality, reliable product today. still, the first thing most harley buyers do is start making changes and upgrades. there will be no new bikes...only "new and improved" old ones!!

I know the Sportster isn't the ideal platform, it was more of a jab at Harley coming out with new Sportsters and figured I could see them trying to market the Sportster as a budget tourer. Take a 1200 custom, put some better shocks on it...hmm, definitely can see it happening.
