Didn't See mobil 1 20-50 V-Twin in there any where? As stated you can make any test end the way you want if you do it right........

Rember the slick 50 adds on tv where they start it in a block of Ice with no oil or no oil pan on the block ....but spray the crank with a fire hose.....

The MAIN job of oil is to COOL a Motor...... So the Ice block or fire hose will make it look good for a short time lol

This is interesting reading...pretty much says synthetic is better than dino, and motorcycle-specific oils are a total waste of money...Was done by Motorcycle Consumer News...so they have nothing to gain.

This might be ripe for some wiki research. I think Olive oil would be a much better choice for good health.....

"First Cold Pressed" ought to keep the engine cool.

In all fairness, the test in MCNews was way back in 1994. Lots of the oils on the market today didn't even exist back then,,,,,Syn 3 and Mobil 1 V Twin come to mind.

after 198,723 miles i switched from mobil 1 to royal purple in my ford f-150...i now have valve clatter when starting on cool mornings. IMO mobil 1 is a superior oil. using h-d syn 3 in my '09 RK...no complaints in 29 k.
