Been there 4 years in a row. It's not all that far for us and kinda kicks off the nice spring weather(last weekend in April)It's not a huge gathering but kinda laid back.Plenty of places to stay but the Casino across the Mississippi river seems to be the best. The music venue isn't bad and some of the local little blues bars are kinda kool.
Nice ride on Friday or saturday over in Mississippi and south about 45 minutes to Clarksdale,Ms. Morgan Freeman has an old blues bar there that everyone from BB King to whoever has played at sometime or another.

Been there last two years...sorry to see "Lez Zeppelin" not returning. Last year parked my toyhauler right outside The Wild Hog Saloon...cost $50 to park there but worth it.

Most likely, if ya got it out, the best you could do is dribble on the end of your shoes. So ,I'm not worried about my parade!

That being said, you Canucks ain't exactly known for "ANY" big wild Biker Parties!

Hell, Son! Japan buys more Harleys and has more Rallys than you Canucks do!

Home of the Delta Blues? Here ya go...

The Delta blues is one of the earliest styles of blues music. It originated in the Mississippi Delta, a region of the United States that stretches from Memphis, Tennessee in the north to Vicksburg, Mississippi in the south, the Mississippi River on the west to the Yazoo River on the east. The Mississippi Delta area is famous both for its fertile soil and its poverty. Guitar, harmonica and cigar box guitar are the dominant instruments used, with slide guitar (usually on the steel guitar) being a hallmark of the style. The vocal styles range from introspective and soulful to passionate and fiery.

Japan is Harley's #2 market. There are 184 H-D (HOG and non-HOG alike) rallys/shows/events planned for 2011. And that's just the "official" list as printed in Japan's main H-D rag, "Vibes". It's a pretty safe bet that there are well over 200 biker events every year in Japan. The rally sponsored by Vibes magazine is Japan's biggest. Attendance tops 10,000 every year, but that of course pales in comparison to Sturgis' half a million.
