Pics of putting bike on yellow sears lift?
I want to order one of these, but would like to see how easy it is to put my bike up on the lift first. I don't want to have to roll the bike on a 2x4 or anything else. It needs to be simple for me. So does anyone have pics of this, or is anyone willing to take a few so I can see the simplicity involved? I would be greatly appreciate. I have an 021 softail. My tires are nearing the changing stage, and I hate top pay $75 an hour for some guy to take my wheel off, when I know how to do it. Lets see those pics. I have never taken a Harley wheel off, only rice rickets and such, and am realtively curious if the adjusters are like those on rice rockets where you basically ahve to turn them an equal amoun of time to make sure that the belt is straight. If that is the case, easy as pie, but by the way they phrase all of this in the manual i'm kinda confused. Anyway, Thanks for your responses.

I have a 06 RKC, and just look at the cross brackets underneath. Slide the jack between, make sure it is about equal on both side, sit on the bike and start 'pumping'. Mine comes up nice and easy, jack has a 'safety lock', should you or your 'ankle biter', turn the jack handle and release the hydraulic pressure. Simple. Great for cleaning white walls (mine) or any other maintenance chores. A real time saver.

I usually sit on the bike, slide the jack under the bike, and jack it up to the first safety stop. I then get off the bike and continue jacking. I find it easier to hold the bike upright and stabilize the bike when I am on it.

"T-P" He needs T-P for his bung hole!
Oh, and I stand to the right side of the bike, pull it up off the jiffy stand, slide the jack underneath and pump it. I found the solid balance point on my bike, so no need for tie downs at my house.

by the way, I just stand on left side place jack where I want it, pull bike upright carefully, slide jack under, then just let bike rest on jack and raise it up.
