Both are synthetic, no logical reason you can't.

No problem in switching synthetic oils from Harley Syn3 to Mobil 1.

My only real experience with switching oils came with a 88 bronco, went from dino to syn at 50K, motor crapped out. Doesn;t really prove anything, might have gone bad with dino. Can't see it as a bad thing when they push syn for high mileage motors in cars. Or maybe partly syn oils.

For a better quality oil that IS a full synthetic oil and not a fake blended oil selling at the price of synthetic.

You can change at any time and get better protection with the M1 too.

Default Syn 3

Syn-3 is a blended oil (synthetic and dino) so in effect you have already been running synthetic. I don't run their oil and do not suggest it to anyone. Mobile 1 is a pretty good choice..

That is not that many miles...you could get to 50K just using KY Jelly as a lubricant... dosn't mean it is doing a great job.

I switched at 40,000 to Mobil 1. Currently at 84,000 miles and still not using oil b/w changes. I liked it because it's less expensive and available pretty much anywhere.
