Default Vance & Hines 2:1 Big Radius

I can't seem to get a direct answer on this one, so I ask for some guidance. Regarding the installation of the V & H 2:1 Big Radius on a 2010 FatBoy FLSTF, does the passenger peg need to be offset, and if so, by how much?

Also, who really likes (or dislikes) this pipe out there? Thanks.

Pipes are kinda like religion...everybody's got their favorite brand, and the arguments about which is best go on and on

Having said that, I love my 2-into-1's...they didn't have the black version when I bought mine. When I bought mine, they provided all the hardware which included a offset bracket for the passenger peg...it didn't actually offset the peg though. I would recommend a quick email to VH. Good luck!

All I have heard is, and take it for what it's worth. They seem to be a hard to tune and a poor performing pipe. The V&H Rep was at our dealer and watched them try and tune a bike with that pipe. A different pipe tuned better and got better #'s and he had nothing to say.
All that said, I love the look and will get one for my wife's Superglide if I can get one used.

Since you asked, I pretty much hate the looks of all 2-1's.

Thanks, all! I actually emailed Vance & Hines to ask this question, thanking them in advance for their time and attention. Perhaps they have too much money to care, as they did not answer the email. First I tried researching info elsewhere, with few results.

How much does the supplied offset bracket move the peg to the North?
