My home made bike ramp
5 Attachment(s)
Here is my attempt at building my own ramp saved a lot of money. Now I need to get my bike.Leaving for Colorado next week to pick it up can't wait, will post pics when I get back.
I used a couple of 2x8x10 and joined them together, eye bolts underneath to secure to trailer hitch with ratched straps, and braces underneath to strengthen it, anti skid strips for traction and 1x6 on the outside for my feet. |
cool..the main thing is she will support the weight..you have the traction part down..good job..
|
It feels pretty solid with those 2x8 in the middle and the braces underneath.
I'm hoping it is. Thanks |
Your bike seems a little small...is that a Sporster? (lol)

Are you planning on riding it up???? If not you better have a second ramp to walk up on. If you are planning on riding it up, check youtube for the possible disasters that can happen so you can try to stay away from those issues. Uhaul rents a good motorcycle trailer if you change your mind.
