riding 2007 96ci vs 96ci b dyna vs soft
I am just curious about whether anyone has had the chance to ride both the 2007 dyna and softail. I rode a friends 06 fatboy and that thing is so smooth with the balanced engine that I was reall quite shocked at how it performed. Does the unbalanced dyna with its rubber mountings have the same untra smooth powerful feel to it?

I love the ride on my 06 Bob. The rubber mounts are great. It has just enough vibration to feel like a Harley. Plus the suspention is believed to be better than the softail.

The suspension on the soft tail has less travel other than that its a much better suspension design imo. The swing arm on the dynas attach to the rubber mounted transmission which can give a hinge effect in cornering. Also can possibly cause wobble issues, there are aftermarket products on the market to try and correct the dyna suspension.

I have none of that. Are you sure that is not old info and HD may have fixed it? When I said that the suspention was known to be better on the Dyna line I was referring to the smoothness of the ride. That has been widly reported. They are both great though.
