Hey Bob... given the list of mods on my bike, where would u recommend the jetting to be? The more I read the more I think my intermediate jetting may be rich.

I'd go with a .0295 or a .031....Also check the mixture screw adjustment..The standard setting is 1.5 turns out after screwing in the mixture screw all the way. Start out with the .0295 if you need to change the Intermediate Jet.

You also need to shut off the accelerator pump when dialing in the carb!

I will try those out. What do you think for the main?

Also, I played with the accelerator pump last night but no matter what I did it seemed to have zero effect on the way the bike ran?

i am wondering if you didnt develop an intake leak on your rear cyl. and then adjusted the carb. making up for that leak on the rear cyl. but dumping fuel to the front...thus the fouled front plug------somthing free to check.
while in your possession was this bike running good? or a new bike for you or loaned out?
what does the spark look like?

Well... I got the bike as a project. It ran good right when I first finished it but went down hill as of late.

The bike runs and gets down the road but just isn't "right."

I tried readjustimg the Carb and overall the bike runs better but now it backfires from the front cylinder?

If you don't have a spare set of plugs, swap the front plug with the rear one and see if the exhaust "pop" moves to the rear cylinder.

Of course I have spare plugs... I own a Harley lol

The backfire is really intermittent but I will check.

I'm starting to think my Carb is just toast.

OK, so here is where I'm at...

Cleaned the plugs, took the Carb back to factory settings and retuned.

The bike is running much better... however it is obviously very rich... the exhaust fumes are pretty staggering.
