Its one of those things that I would rather have and not need, than need and not have. Stoping distance was never a reason to get it, its those emergency situations that you cant control is why I got it. I had to wait to get ABS on my bike, and im glad I waited. Why spend all that money and not get what you want.
I have it. It's one of those things that is personal. I can easily see many old timers not wanting it, but I can say it helps make me a better rider. Too long an explanation to go into, but I really like having it....
