Other Than Harley
The local city police in my area are still riding Harleys but the County Mounties are on leased Beemers.
Just seems to be a sign of the times. I heard ,through the grapevine, that the reason for the switch was the maintenance cost of the Harleys.

Yes indeed. There area a few Kings at a local dealership for sale.

They won't save on maintenance costs by changing to BMW's. They currently have all sorts of issues with gearbox and shaft drive failure. Google "BMW gearbox fault" and you get 48 million pages ( Harley gearbox fault results in a paltry 28 million 
).
